5) Blast from the Past themed birthday - there are SOOO many things you can do with this theme! Deck out your venue in 80s and 90s-inspired decor (bust out that old walkman, dig out those jelly shoes and Doc Martens, and sport your best plaid shirt!) Have prizes for the best 80s/90s outfit, hair, etc. Put your old mix tapes out on display. Have a candy bar featuring all the great candy you can't buy in stores anymore. There really is something uniquely sexy about retro pin-up images, and one of the bachelorette party trends I am loving recently is a bachelorette pin-up theme! This is actually pretty easy to pull off - a lot of thrift stores carry cute vintage clothes for a cheap price that everyone can dress up in, and guests can easily style their hair in classic retro curls and do dramatic red lips and liquid eyeliner for their make up, and voila!
